I have created a typeface inspired by the works of H. R. Giger, which have a lot of organic forms, strange mechanisms and aliens.
I have based my grid on the photo - the most cosmic from other photos I have made.
Eventually the type that came out of it reminds of something evil in a space, it can create a feeling that there is something sinister behind this letters. Furthermore, there is an opportunity to play with kerning and the placement of letters which creates different effects.
