Mood Book
Re-branding of a small bookshop
Sometimes you come to a bookshop with no idea what to read. You just feel the need.
When you enter this shop you can see a variety of colours on the bookshelves. And you go in any direction that atrracts you. Here colours represent the mood in which you should read this book.
The bookcases are organized by emotional states, not by standart categories, so you won't be lost like in other faceless and complicated shops.
Here are the photos of the shop I was rebranding. I have made a research and figured out the problems in this shop which are the navigation, service and overall design of a shop in 90s style.
Below you can see my proposal of Here is a new name and a logo, which might present a variety of emotions by changing an eyes expression. Also, there are bookmarks which might be a part of some gift 'mood set' and visit cards and colourfull book covers.
This kind of indoor navigation helps a buyer choose the book which suits his feelings and wants. Every bookshop has its own spirit and community of consumers. This one created to solve the problem of choice.
In this shop you have a feeling like you are a part
of a community and you will never be struggling with choosing again.
